Kelim-Gabbeh Carpets |
The knotting Kelim Gabbehs is approximately as close as that of Gabbeh but it is without pile. Their reverse side is almost indistinguishable from that of Gabbeh, but the surface of their face almost looks as if they were knitted. Because of their rustic flair and the naïve charm of their motives they enjoy great popularity especially with young people.
Furniture shops are regularly purchasing this new development, because it goes very well with modern furniture.
